Joystick conversion kit for your John Deere X700.

Replaces the function of your column levers by implementing a joystick for a more natural control of your implements (front end loader, snowblower, snow blade, mower deck, grapple, pallet forks, etc).

Application:  2013 and newer John Deere X700 signature series (X758, X739, X738, etc) with L&M Concepts 120R loader sub-frame kit or 45 Loader sub-frame kit, Little Buck/Bull Loader and CTC Loader.  You can also select the configuration for “No Loader” if you don’t have a loader, but want full control of your deck and front quick hitch implements.  ***Additional configurations coming soon!***

NOTE: You will lose the OEM cup-holder when installing the Joystick.

The Joystick replaces the column lever controls.  You disconnect them and replace the connections with cables to the joystick.  The column levers are not used after the conversion.
The following is how it would function with some different implements:
  • Front End Loader – Forward and Back = Lift and lower on loader, Left and Right = curl and dump on bucket
  • Mower Deck – Left and Right on Joystick = Up and Down on the mower deck.
  • Front Quick Hitch – Forward and Back = Up and Down on quick hitch, Left and Right = angle of blade or snow chute on snow blower.
  • 3 point hitch (3ph)- Left and Right = up and down on 3ph.
Float – push the joystick forward until it clicks into “float” mode and the blade or snow blower will float across the ground just like it did with the stock column lever.
The joystick does not divorce the 3ph from the deck or curl function on a loader. The control is much more natural/intuitive vs the separate column levers.

If inventory shows stock, that means I have all the components in stock.  Allow up to 1 week for fabrication and powder coat (sometimes I can ship immediately).  Please allow up to 2 weeks if backordered.

  • 1 – High quality Heavy Duty cable Joystick
  • 2 – Joystick Push/Pull Cables
  • 1 – Joystick mast
  • 1 – Cable retention bracket (specific to your tractor configuration).  Select option at checkout.  If your configuration changes in the future, I new cable retention bracket can be purchased inexpensively.  The Joystick and Cables are common for the different configurations.
  • 1 – Complete hardware kit – Includes everything needed for installation

    I contacted Mark about a Joystick Kit for my 2020 John Deere X739 without a loader, I do have a 60” deck, 54” front blade along with a tractor shovel and quick connect. I just don’t want a loader on this particular tractor. Mark went to work designing and fabricating a no loader SCV control cable bracket for my needs and in about 10 days the kit was at my house. I completed the install today and it looks great and works awesome! Good stuff! Thanks again !Shane

    This is great to hear Shane. It has been great working with you. I really enjoy working with customers like yourself to develop new products! Shane sent me some pictures that allowed me to create a 3D model of a cable bracket that worked for his application. I was able to turn this cable bracket into a production bracket for him as well other customers that needed a similar solution. The joystick conversion kit has been very popular and there are many configurations the kit has to be compatible with.

    The joystick is a game changer for running my new set up on my JD X739. Mark installed the 120r loader, 3pt and PTO so of course I had to add the joystick too! I coincidentally had just put on the JD folding armrests a day or two before dropping my tractor off for my upgrades. The placement and functionality allows me to easily and comfortably run my ever growing list of attachments. The joystick allows me to do smooth micro movements when using forks, scooping gravel out of my trailer or setting 3pt heights. I’m still learning and have a blast every day finding new uses and function with my entire install being controlled by this one joystick. Thank you Mark!

    Ordered the joystick kit after having installed and used the 120 loader brackets. Install was super easy. Kit has everything you need. Makes operating the loader much easier and natural. Highly recommend if you have a loader on your tractor.
